Holy Trinity win Loch an Iuir Opener!

Holy Trinity College got their Loch an Iuir Campaign off to an impressive start with an emphatic victory over Rathmore Grammar on Monday. Holy Trinity were playing against a strong breeze in the first half and it proved to be an even contest with the scoreline 0-3 to 0-3 after 20mins. A great spell before half time saw the Cookstown boys pull away to lead 2-5 to 0-4 at the break, with  goals coming from Conor McGarrity and Dylan bloomer. Cookstown dominated with the wind at their backs in the second half. There were strong performances from Kieran Moore and Sean McKenna in defence and the impressive Tiernan Mackle in midfield, while up front Dylan Bloomer, Tomas Doris, Pauric Lagan and Shane Murphy got the bulk of the second half scores.
