On Friday 11th April, our Year 8 girls participated in the in-school Trinity Cup competition for girls gaelic football. The girls were split into two teams managed by senior pupils Emer McKenna and Michaela McGuigan and staff members Miss Dillon and Miss Gormley. Following an outstanding match, the Blue Team emerged victorious by 5 points. A tremendous level of skill and fitness was evidenced during the game and no doubt these girls will go on to have fantastic playing careers for the school, their club and county. Perhaps some day, some of them might go on to replicate the achievement of Michaela on winning an Ulster School’s All-Star.

Year 8 girls gaelic training continues on Friday’s after school. All players are welcome regardless of ability or experience.
