Holy Trinity College got their first ever MacRory Cup campaign off to a successful start, with an historic win over St Patrick’s Cavan at a windswept Armagh on Tuesday afternoon. The men in Green in Black got off to a flyer, keeping their Cavan opponents scoreless for the opening twenty eight minutes as they made the best of a strong wind. Scores from Mark Devlin (0-03), Pauric Lagan (0-02) Eunan Devlin (0-1) and Nathan Connolly (0-01) put them in the driving seat at half time, but it was a goal from Tiernan Quinn in the second half that secured a final victory on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-7. Well done to all players and management on a great start to the campaign. Next up is St Macartans Monaghan next week.
